Last February 9, 2013, for the celebration of the feast day of Bro. Giovanni Zuccolo, the Marikina Youth Oratorio gathered once again to showcase the hidden talents of the little children of the oratorio. The R.O.C.K. for Christ concert was held in the Bro. Giovanni Zuccolo Novitiate house in Marikina City.

The concert started with a mini fashion show of the children who will perform for the night. The opening song Let’s Get the Party Started was performed by the Canossian Angels started the night with a Bang!! The whole night was filled with songs of love, dance and worship. The little children showcased their individual talents in every song and dance number assigned to them. Each kid had given an equal chance to shine on the concert stage.

One of the highlights for the night was the Role play of the life of Bro. Giovanni Zuccolo. The play showed how Bro. Giovanni devoted his life for the oratorio and also how much he loved the children. It also showed the importance of worship to the Lord. His story served as an inspiration to the audience.

The concert was also blessed with the presence of the Special Children from the Guanella Foundation. They also prepared a dance number with the hit song Oppa Gangnam Style. The audience cheered for them and it heightened their spirits to perform. They inspired the audience that even with their disability they can live their lives happily and all for the glory of God.

Throughout the concert, the parents of the wonderful performers are in full support. And with this kind of support system, the main objective of the concert, which is to boost the confidence of the little children, was achieved.
