Although the Christmas was fast approaching, preparations,
exams, and busy schedules didn’t stop the youth from Canossian Youth Oratorio
to show everyone what they’ve got in a one-night concert event.
Step-Up Revive concert was held last November 30, 2012 at the
Bro. Giovanni Zuccolo Novitiate house in Marikina City. With the help of the whole
community, this concert was organized and led by the youth to “revive” their spirits
by showcasing their talents.
The Canossian Youth Band prepared worship songs that captured
the audience’s heart. They also prepared different song and dance numbers all
for the enjoyment of the live audience. The night was filled with songs, love
and cheers.
One of the highlights of the concert was the performance of
our guests, The Teatro Kristiano from Tondo, Manila and the Genesis Choir of
the Immaculate Concepcion Parish of Marikina. The two groups both wowed the
audience with their stellar performances. But of course the Canossian Youth
Choir also gave their hearts out with a beautiful medley that made everyone
unleash their sentimental side with the song “Till I Met You” followed by a
crazy hip tune “Bukonut” that rocked the whole house and kept the audiences at
their feet.
Truly, with the help of beautiful people who’s behind the
whole scene and with the power and divine intervention of almighty God, the
almost-impossible-concert was made possible!
