PROJECTS and CAMPAIGNS

Oratorio / Youth Ministry
NATURE OF ORATORIO
1. The work of the oratorio acquires educational value in the measure in which becomes an environment of life, rich in humanity, familiarity, joy and of feeling as a Christian, according to the spirit of the first Canossian Oratorio in Venice.
2. The Canossian Oratorio becomes environment of life when children, teenagers, young people, adults, parents and religious, realize together an experience of community.
3. The community experience of the Canossian Oratorio is not an end by itself, but it's offered as an opportunity of human and Christian growth for all the children and young people of the ecclesial community and of the territory, especially for the neediest and the distant ones.

• Kariton ni Pablo

Taking the cue from the 2009 CNN Hero of the Year Efren Peñaflorida and his idea Kariton Klasrum, the Oratorio of San Pablo Apostol Parish in Tondo launched “Kariton ni Pablo”, a localized version that has been designated for the out-of-school youth leaving in the depressed areas within the vicinity of the Parish. This said project aims to address basic needs in terms of education for the out of school youth who are unable to go to schools for formal education, but other children who are enrolled in the different elementary schools are also welcome to be part of this project.

• Summer Youth Activities
Summer Youth Activities 2013 lasted for two weeks. This involves children from Grade 3 up to High School level. These children were taught by the fully equipped and trusted Youth Volunteers of the Youth Ministry of San Pablo Apostol Parish. There are four major academic subjects namely, Mathematics, English, Science and Filipino. These subjects were been taught during the morning session of Tuesday and Thursday, while Religion or Catechism were taught during Monday and Friday of the morning session. Aside from learning academics, the children were given the freedom to choose where they want to join on the skills development class. The different skills classes are Dance, Singing, Arts, Theatre Arts and Guitar Lesson.
